- Battle Creek Resident Since 2001
I became a Realtor in 2006, and in my first year in the business I won ‘Rookie of the Year’ with the Battle Creek Area Association of Realtors, which was quite an honor. I later was honored again in 2010 as the ‘Realtor of the Year’ and served as president of the board in 2011.
I am originally from Arizona, where I grew up in Phoenix. During the years I lived there, I had many wonderful experiences, including hiking the Grand Canyon on four separate trips, as well as the Superstition Mountains, Aravaipa Canyons, and many other places all before I was 18 years old. Through those years I developed a deep appreciation and love for the outdoors that I still have today.
My early experiences in real estate, however began when I lived in Georgia (1984-1999) where I owned and ran a business in the interior design trade as a professional Stained and Beveled Glass Company selling, designing and creating custom windows and doors for homes throughout the metro-Atlanta area. After selling that business, I moved to Michigan and worked in the remodeling industry and I later ran a independent landscape business until 2006 when I became a Realtor.
I have lived in the Battle Creek area since 2001, and enjoy volunteering and helping others within the community. When I am not selling Real Estate, I have been involved in programs such as Big Brothers and Big Sisters and volunteered time with the Board of Realtors charitable activities. I also volunteer time at the Humane Society of South Central Michigan. In addition to all of this, I am a self-published author of several non-fiction self-help books as well as children’s stories.

Working at the Boy Scout 'Camp Geronimo' in Payson, Arizona the summer I truned 16. I was in charge of 'Headquarters' registering incoming and outgoing troops to campsites, sorting mail, routing supplies, etc. It was one of the most magical times of my life living in the Ponderosa Pine Forests on the Mogollon Rim.
Super Hero Power:

I find inspiration in the works of the brilliant authors such as Earnest Hemingway, Jack London, Mark Twain, J.R.R. Tolkien and Maya Angelou to name a few. I also find inspiration in meeting new and interesting people, and taking the road less traveled.
